Contract Staffing
Flexible, Scalable, and Cost-Efficient
Contract staffing can provide your business with the flexibility needed to navigate a period of transition, a hiring freeze, or add niche skill sets to your team in order to take on large projects. With this type of employment arrangement, an individual works for your company but is actually an employee of DTS for a specified contract duration in order to complete a specific task or project for a set bill rate. Most contract staffing scenarios are comprised of three components:
1.) The Client Company
This is the organization with the staffing need. The need for staffing is often related to a specific project or a task that requires completion within a strict deadline.
2.) The Contractor
This is the employee, commonly referred to as a contractor, that will work at the client company in order to complete the project and/or required tasks.
3.) The Staffing Company
DTS serves as the legal W-2 employer of record for the contractor, i.e. the contractor is a direct employee of DTS. The staffing company will handle all things like payroll, taxes, benefits, and workers’ comp.
